The Essex Development & Regeneration Agency (ExDRA) is proud to be an
ESF co-financing organisation in conjunction with Essex County Council.

Over the past four years, through the support of the European Social Fund we have
supported over 3,000 people from across Essex, many of whom have either gained
qualifications or moved into employment.

ESF Funding changes people’s lives, offering employment opportunities for all, helping people from all walks of life to gain qualifications through many training and development opportunities.

ESF Objective 3 aims to improve people's skills and employment prospects by:

• tackling long-term unemployment helping young people and those at risk from not being able to find work
• improving training, education and counseling for lifelong learning
• encouraging entrepreneurship and adaptability in the workplace
  promoting equal opportunities and improving the role of women in the workplace
