The programme should be open to people irrespective of their location in Essex and must also be open to people from all impairment groups.

Applicants should show that their proposal is well researched and that it will meet Essex market needs in respect of its business whilst also meeting the needs of the programme members. It is especially important that applicants demonstrate that the enterprise will be sustainable beyond funding from ESF. The Enterprise should be run (although not necessarily delivered from) any or all of the Clacton, Harwich or Basildon Enterprise Centres where they will be assisted to get established by a Business Link for Essex Social Enterprise Start Up Consultant.
